Record / Phaedo3 Sets a new around St Martin record

Lloyd Thornburg and his crew aboard Phaedo3, whilst training for the up coming regatta, Les Voiles de St Barth, decided to see if they could challenge one record. 

Back in March 2003, Steve Fossett set a record for sailing around the island of St Maarten. He circumnavigated the island in 2 hours 4 minutes and 36 seconds.

Volvo Ocean Race / Sam Davies : "We made it !"

Battered, bruised, but defiant to the last, Team SCA (Sam Davies/GBR) finally completed a gruelling Leg 5 of the Volvo Ocean Race on Tuesday and arrived to a well-deserved Brazilian welcome fit for heroines.
