The MOD70 Race for Water has sailed for the first time off Lorient yesterday afternoon in great conditions.
“We have sailed for several hours yesterday in a nice breeze, between 6 and 12 knots. A first sea trial that has enabled us to test the reliability of the concept, to test a first set of sails and to enjoy the sailing on our new machine. The helm balance is excellent. 24 knots on one float… the first surfing sensations… it’s really exciting! ”, explains Stève Ravussin, Race for Water skipper.
