"Hello to everyone from ACCIONA 100% EcoPowered. Today has been a night with light, very shifty winds but in the last few hours I have been able to sail a good heading with good speed.

After gybing this morning I saw that there were about 40 cm missing from the rudder. The area which has broken is a kind of ‘crash area’ (additional piece) which serves to protect the area if there is a collision. So it has really done its job! The impact I suffered a few days ago was on the starboard rudder and it wasn’t until I gybed that I could see it, as the endoscope wasn’t able to.
