Anna-Lena will be the OnBoard Reporter, rotating with American Corinna Halloran, for this leg. "I have been the reserve OnBoard Reporter since the start of the Race and was on board with the team for a Transatlantic and also joined the team in Lanzarote during their training period. So I know what I'm getting into!" Comments Anna-Lena.

Anna-Lena is a 39-year old journalist from Gothenburg . She edits Search, a sailing magazine that she started in 2007 with her husband. While Anna-Lena is onboard, Corinna will be able to watch the race 'from the other side'. "This will be a unique opportunity and we are fortunate in that our squad system allows us to be able to take time out to further develop our skills. I know that Anna-Lena will do a great job continuing to tell this great story," comments Corinna.

Skipper Sam Davies adds: "Team SCA is fairly unique in this race on many levels. Our squad system means that we are able to rotate the team members onboard, and the role of OnBoard Reporter is no different. Anna-Lena has been part of the team since June last year and we are happy to have her join us."
