Vendée Globe 2016 and a new Mini 6.50 campaign for Giancarlo Pedote and Prysmian

Following the results of 2013, crowned by the recent award as Italian Sailor of the Year, Giancarlo decided in 2014 to engage in two projects simultaneously : the search for one or more co - sponsors that could allow him to take part in the Vendée Globe 2016 and a new Mini 6.50 campaign .

Mini / Becky Scott retires from SAS race :"The right decision although tough to swallow"

Artemis Offshore Academy Class Mini sailor Becky Scott has today made the difficult decision to retire from Les Sables – Les Açores – Les Sables after a broken autopilot main processor forced her to head back to Les Sables d’Olonne, France on Monday 30th July, after just 24 hours of racing.

Mini / Pip Hare first female finisher (in the Series class) in the 2011 Charente-Maritime/Bahia Transat 6.50

The Mini-Transat, as this race is more popularly known, saw Artemis Offshore Academy Associate member and first-time Mini-Transat sailor Pip Hare arrive into the Brazilian port of Bahia having achieved her goal of finishing in the top 15 for leg two. She finished leg two after 21 days, 10 hours, 22 minutes, and 13 seconds in a well earned 15th place. The race included a record number of six female skippers amongst the 79 competitors with Pip being the first female sailor to finish the race in the 45-boat Series fleet. The 4,200nm ‘Everest’ event for the Mini Class, was split into two legs, leg one from La Rochelle to Funchal Madeira (1,100nm), and leg two onward to Bahia, Brazil (3,100nm).
