Work has started on the ORACLE TEAM USA base at Dockyard in Bermuda. The site is being cleared and levelled and concrete is being poured this week for where the boat shed will be located.

The clock is ticking as the team plans to be operating from Bermuda in about six weeks time.
"We’re looking at the beginning of May for sailing in Bermuda," confirmed skipper Jimmy Spithill.
"It’s really important to get the base up and running by then and I’m sure the guys in Bermuda are working as hard as they can to make that happen for us.
"I know from our side, all of the guys are really looking forward to getting over there and getting set up with their families in our new home."
